TBZ Kakuozan Flagship Shop

"重ねる、重なる"

名古屋市にあるてりやきバーガーが評判のお店。
今回はリニューアルの為、内装の雰囲気を変えたいとの相談を受けた。
大規模な工事はなく、什器と一部の造作工事によって雰囲気を一新することが望まれている計画であった。

てりやきバーガーは、欧米のハンバーガーを日本ならではの甘辛いてりやきソースと合わせることで生まれた和洋折衷の食べ物。「和」を感じさせる内装であること、ハンバーガーショップらしいポップな空間を創り出したいと考えた。

ハンバーガーが食材を重ねて作られていくように、異なる要素を積み重ね、什器や造作を設計し空間を創っていく。
高さの異なる大きなテーブルは、形状と大きさの異なる箱が積み重なった脚で支え、天板は異なる木目方向を重ね合わせ楔でつないでいる。周囲のベンチスペースは、お座敷を彷彿とさせる小上がりのように作られている。
ちりばめられた小さな和の要素が集積し重なることで「てりやき」の要素が空間に組み込まれた。

"Layered and Overlapping"

TBZ in Nagoya is known for its teriyaki burgers—a fusion of Japanese flavors and Western style.
For the renovation of its flagship shop, the client requested a fresh atmosphere through new furniture and light built-in work, without major construction.

The design takes cues from the burger itself, layering different materials and forms like its ingredients. A central table is supported by stacked boxes, while the tabletop combines wood grains in various directions, joined with wedges.
Bench seating wraps the space in a raised platform, evoking traditional zashiki.

Subtle Japanese elements are layered throughout, creating a space that reflects the hybrid character of "teriyaki" in both flavor and design.
