ファンデーションー下地をつくる

彼の作り出す枠に捉われないヘアスタイリング。
根幹となっているものは多様な趣味や挑戦する姿勢だろうか。
目指すヘアスタイリングを表現するのに相応しい空間とはどんなものであるか。

彼の持つ独自性や創造性が、空間にも現れて欲しいと考えた。
この独自性や創造性というものは、移り変わっていくものであり、そうであるべきだ。
その移り変わりに耐え、支え、時には促進させる空間を目指す。そんなファンデーション(下地や基礎)のような設計を提案した。

空間を作り上げる様々な要素は、明確な用途や機能を与えられたものではなく、素材やシンプルな造形など単体で作り上げられている。
切り離された単体を組み合わせることで、目的とする用途や機能が満たされパズルのように構成される。
そこに彼が持ち込む新たなピースを組み合わせ更新されていく。
これからの変遷が楽しみである。

Foundation – A Space for Change

This space was designed for a hairstylist whose work defies fixed styles, shaped by curiosity and a spirit of experimentation.
Rather than reflecting a single identity, the design serves as a flexible foundation—supporting change, encouraging creativity, and allowing for continuous evolution.

Elements in the space are not tied to fixed functions. Each is simple and standalone, but when combined, they form a purposeful whole—like pieces of a puzzle.
As the stylist adds new layers, the space adapts and grows with him.

It’s a base designed not just to hold, but to evolve.
